The Trotters are still searching for their first points of the season after having lost both their games so far. After a 2-1 loss to Tottenham on the opening day, the Reds bounced back with a 4-0 win over Stoke, only to sink to a 3-1 loss to Aston Villa on Monday. An own goal from Lucas and others from Curties Davis and Ashley Young gave Villa a great win despite a 72nd minute goal from Fernando Torres. Manager Rafa Benitez raged at his senior players after this defeat and fans can surely expect a backlash here.
